How to Make Hummus with Ground Beef

Ingredients

You will need various ingredients for hummus and ground beef preparation. You will need the following ingredients for hummus.

  • One 15-ounce canned chickpeas
  • Three tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • Two tablespoons of tahini
  • Half teaspoon of salt

The ingredients required for preparing ground beef and toasted pine nuts are:

  • Three tablespoons of pine nuts
  • One or two tablespoons of olive oil
    • We recommend using the extra virgin olive oil
  • Half pound ground beef (lean)
  • One teaspoon of seven spices or all spices
  • Half teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
  • Olive oil and fresh parsley for serving

Instructions

  1. Fill some water in the bowl and place chickpeas in it
  2. Peel the chickpeas’ skin by rubbing them together
  3. Drain the beans and put them into a food processor
  4. Make sure you properly blend the garbanzo beans
    1. The purpose is to ensure they turn into powder
  5. Add tahini, lemon juice, salt, and garlic cloves
    1. You can also add 2-4 ice cubes, depending on your taste
  6. Now blend the ingredients for five minutes
  7. Adjust the mixture by adding some salt and lemon juice
  8. Use a spoon to place the hummus into a bowl or on a plate
  9. Use the spoon’s backside to spread the hummus
  10. Now prepare the ground beef and roasted nuts
    1. Heat ½ tablespoon of olive oil
    2. Add pine nuts and continue heating until they are golden brown
    3. Heat the remaining extra virgin oil
    4. Add the ground beef and seven spices
    5. Cook the ground beef for 7-10 minutes
    6. Now place the ground beef over the hummus
    7. Use toasted pine nuts for topping
    8. Drizzle olive oil and garnish with fresh parsley
