  • 5 pounds of spinach
  • A half pound of ground beef
  • One medium onion
  • Five garlic cloves
  • One tablespoon of olive oil
  • One tablespoon of lemon juice
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • A half teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • A half teaspoon of ground allspice
  • ¼ cup of pine nuts


  1. Start the process by preparing the pine nuts
  2. Heat three tablespoons of olive in a small saucepan
  3. Make sure the temperature is medium-low
  4. Add pine nuts to the saucepan
  5. Cook for at least 5-6 minutes
  6. Ensure the nuts are golden brown
  7. Mix the nuts to avoid burning
  8. Set aside the cooked nuts
  9. Heat olive oil in a deep pot
  10. Set the heat to medium
  11. Add diced onion, garlic, and salt to the pot
  12. Cook for ten minutes to wilt the ingredients
  13. Add the ground beef and spices
  14. Mix these ingredients with cooked onion
  15. Add spinach and mix well with the beef mixture
  16. Mix the ingredients for at least three minutes
  17. Adult the salt and transfer to the serving plate
