How to make Lebanese Fattoush Salad

Fattoush is a typical salad of Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. It is made with cucumber, tomato, parsley, and fresh mint. The characteristic ingredients of this salad are sumac, and pita bread cut into strips or cubes, fried or toasted.   1. Wash the vegetables well and dry them with a cloth
  2. Cut the tomatoes into 2-3 cm pieces
  3. Cut the cucumber, the radishes, and the red pepper into 2cm long pieces
  4. Cut the onion into strips
  5. Cut the lettuce into not very thin strips
  6. Cut the mint leaves, parsley, and cilantro into 3-4 pieces
  7. Cut the pita bread into cubes
  8. Toast them in the oven or under the grill
  9. Make sure they are very crispy
  10. Put one tablespoon of sumac
  11. Add 5-6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  12. Now add 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice to a bowl
  13. Beat vigorously with a whisk to emulsify the mixture
  14. Put the vegetables in a salad bowl
  15. Add the lemon dressing and stir with a spoon to distribute it evenly.
  16. We spread the pita bread cubes on top and sprinkled a tablespoon of sumac
